It invested off the parent company's balance sheet with a dual financial-and-strategic return mandate across technology sectors including enterprise software, AI, cybersecurity, and mobility. The unit was wound down in the 2010s and its mandate evolved into Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners (DTCP), later rebranded as T.Capital.
